SaleHoo is basically a very nice and well maintained
wholesale / dropshipping list. While structured like a search, it
is not a in-depth search. You are basically searching through a
list of suppliers to see if they are listed under any of the "keywords"
you search for... In other words, you are not searching the
live inventory of your suppliers. You are just searching a
directory of suppliers; by keyword.
So, finding products to resell using SaleHoo is not as
easy as it is when using a complete product sourcing tool like
Worldwide Brands or
NAWCA.
That being said, SaleHoo membership will connect you to
many of the same product suppliers (wholesalers, dropshippers, etc) as
the more expensive options for well under one hundred dollars.
And, SaleHoo has one of the nicest wholesale communities around.
The SaleHoo community is a nice safety-net to have when
you're just getting started. Other SaleHoo members and the SaleHoo
staff are there to give you encouragement when needed, to warn you about
scams and bad wholesalers, and to make you feel confident that you can
succeed on eBay if you don't give up. (Which is true I might
add!)
I think if you're just looking to get your feet wet and
want to see what is out there in the world of wholesale products...
Then SaleHoo might be a good place for you.
For under $100 you can get
started on
SaleHoo in just a few minutes
and be searching for wholesale products. You
can also be using the SaleHoo community to get some guidance.
However, if you're most interested in really getting
selling on eBay right away it would be in your interest to get a
complete product sourcing membership --
Worldwide Brands.
If you have very limited money to get started selling on
eBay, then I would suggest you purchase and read the "Better Sources
Guide" offered at
www.DropShippingSucks.com.
And if you still have no idea where to start, that is no
problem too...
